Hot Chocolate Run raises nearly $835K for survivors of domestic violence

Thousands of people braved the cold weather this morning to support a fundraising tradition in Northampton.
Nearly 6,000 runners and walkers took to the starting line for the annual Hot Chocolate Run in Northampton. All running not only for hot chocolate but also to help the non-profit organization, ‘Safe Passage’ put an end to domestic violence.
“It seems like a great cause, it seems really festive, really embracing Northampton and I’m excited to do it this year,” said Anna Delwiche of Deerfield.
A tradition that’s been going on for 21 years, to break the cycle of abuse and provide hope for those suffering. These runners came out eager and energetic to show their support for this cause. They’re bundled up in warm and festive clothing and driven to make a difference.
