Red Flags

How could I be so blind

I let my self-worth be destroyed in harm’s way. I would play by your rules, losing every moment of my dignity for you. As you never remain true to me. Time after time, I try to get free from your darkness. I was a prisoner to your lies.

Red Flags

Color of blood was there, nothing but red waving in my mind. We never ever played fair. To you, I was crazy, and to me, you were lazy to even give a damn about my concerns. We started this war when our lips first said hello. Your Poisonous ways left me mentally medicated.

Red Flags

The only time I got a signal from you was when you needed to let out some sexual energy. Collapses  back into a frame of my mind, Where we live happily ever after. In the end, I would always be left looking like a fool as you walked away with an attitude that you were too cool for me. Wish I would have paid attention to the sirens and red flags warning me about this nonexistent relationship. All I wanted to do is kiss you while all you wanted to do was piss on my grave.

Red Flags

Yup, they were there all over surrounding me, but my ass was too blind, very comfortable in knowing that invisible you was better than being alone. Now I realize all that time I was in charge of my own freedom and happiness. Holding on to something that was doomed from the start was never meant to last.

I finally paid attention to them red flags.
