Two Pieces (Wolfie Trix)
Wolfie Trix
Nearly Dead
Vision blurs,
My voice fades away
My strength fades,
Colors around me gray.
Gazing at the sky, so blue, Telling it goodbye.
I stop fighting;
Am I about to die?
I remember that day:
Your hands around my throat.
This sensation, so odd I would
like to note.
Can’t breathe; feeling dizzy.
When did I stop breathing?
I feel light, weightless.
When did I lose all feeling?
So, this is how I die?
This is so unjust!
To be killed by you,
The man who had my trust.
"The sky is so pretty."
I said, avoiding your gaze.
I can’t even look at you
With your eyes so ablaze.
You then let me breathe And ran away in fear.
You are obviously insane;
That is evidently clear.
Keep away from me,
You are where you belong.
Because you are sick;
And you know you were wrong.
She'll Remember
She remembers when she was No younger than three
Already fully aware
Of how cruel the world can be.
She quickly got used to
People walking out of her life She never said a word
On how it cut like a knife.
She would beg and plead
Yet no one ever stayed
One way or another
She was hurt or betrayed.
Still, she can’t help it
Ever hopeful; she’ll try
To tell herself they won’t go away
That she won’t have to say goodbye.
Constantly wondering
If she’s not good enough
And trying her hardest
To act strong and tough.
She’s nearly 30 now
Yet it’s all still the same
Somehow she hasn’t given up Her hope inside is still aflame.
She valiantly tries
To not shed a tear
And tries harder still To not show her fear.
She hopes that someday
She won’t have to pretend And that this vicious cycle
Will come to an end.
