Community Engagement

Tabling & Community Events: Our Staff and Volunteers are able to be present at events, fairs, and other community events to share information about our agency and our programs. We provide support and resources for survivors, and opportunities for the community to get engaged in our work and are available for public speaking at community events.

Community Workshops: Safe Passage offers a variety of one-time workshops for community members and community groups. Topics include:

  • Safe Passage, Domestic Violence, and Prevention
  • Domestic Violence and How to Support Survivors
  • Safe Passage: Programs and Services
  • Domestic Violence 101
  • Population-Specific Survivor Support
    • LGBTQ+ Survivors
    • Immigrants and Latinx Survivors
    • Survivors with Disabilities

Prevention LAB Training Series: We want to provide our community with the skills and information to join us in our efforts to support survivors and prevent violence. The Say Something Prevention LAB is a multiple-session series offered virtually and in-person for both adults and youth!
