Housing Advocacy and Economic Empowerment

Housing Advocacy

We know that stability starts with a safe home. Our counselor advocates help survivors access and navigate housing options that allow them to find a home that works for them and their families.

Survivors will have access to

  • A free and confidential computer lab to access housing application portals
  • Help addressing housing appeals processes - including application, denial, and eviction proceedings
  • Guidance related to housing and benefit applications (i.e. CHAMP, Section 8, etc.)
  • Transportation assistance

Survivors will have access to

  • Resume and cover letter help
  • A free and confidential computer lab to access job applications
  • Help filling out and submitting financial benefit applications (i.e. WIC, EBT, MassHealth, SNAP, etc.)
  • Job training, financial education, and budget planning
